This was probably the most challenging thing I have done but also the most incredible experience I have ever had! Just a word of advice to take the following: wet wipes, tissues, head lamp (or torch) for early morning summit, hiking poles (they make such a difference) and obliviously warm clothing (it gets freezing at night).
Absolutely loved this tour and could not have asked for better service. We booked super last minute for a spontaneous trip to Guatemala so I was a bit worried things wouldn’t work out but I quickly became reassured by the ease of communication from the company. Sebastian was very friendly and happy to answer all of my questions. The lady working at the front desk was also super helpful advising us on what to pack and also lent us some warm clothes including jumpers, beanies and gloves. Our guides David and Willy truly made the experience extra special. They walked at our pace and were always supportive when the track got tough. Their English skills were fantastic but what made it really nice was they helped us learn some Spanish along the way. When we stopped to take phones. David and Willy taught us about the volcano and wildlife. Lukas carried and prepared our meals which were very healthy and fresh. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a private tour.
