Take a Turkish bath tour and feel the benefits of the warm water, massage and revitalising tea.
What to Expect
The Turkish bath is a place where physical and spiritual cleaning has been taking place for hundreds of years. In 1741 Istanbul built its first public bath house in Sultan Mehmet. Natural lighting and izonic colored tiles create a stunning and relaxing atmosphere.
When entering a Turkish bath, you leave your stresses outside, and exchange your clothes for a waist cloth and adorn the traditional clogs.
The inside temperature can reach up to 50 degrees celsius under the central dome of the building.
This heat and humidity opens the pores of your body and extracts the fatty oils of the body in preparation for your scrub down and massage by the therapist.
After a gentle soap massage you'll head to the resting room where you'll have some tea. You'll leave the Turkish Bath feeling renewed, beautiful and refreshed.
