Full description
Your full day excursion begins in the early morning when you’re picked up at your Antalya hotel and begin the drive to Pamukkale. After a lunch break you’ll visit the cascading snow-white terraced cliffs of this mysterious Cotton Palace. The calcite-laden waters that had created this unreal landscape come from springs located in a 200-meter high cliff that overlooks the plain. Marvel at the mineral forests, petrified waterfalls and the series of terraced basins created by these waters. At the end of the 2nd century B.C. the kings of Pergamon established the thermal spa of Hierapolis. The ruins of the baths, temples and other Greek monuments can be seen at the site. The temples were significant trade centers for ancient Hierapolis. See the Roman theater, the Apollo temple, Roman baths, fountains and the agora. After the tour, have a chance to swim in thermal pools. An additional option is to swim in Cleopatra’s Pool, for an extra fee.

A highly recommended tour!!! The ride was comfortable, and the tour size was limited to the seating of a van. Barbaros was great. The lunch was excellent. The amount of time to explore the cascading pools after the Roman ruins was just right. We did not do the optional swim in Cleopatra's pool, but encourage all to make their way all the way down the trail of pools for more space and great photos. It is a bit crowded at the top. In early October, it was cool at lunchtime but quickly heated up to perfect weather for the afternoon. A hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen are a must. Bring a backpack if you want a change of clothes and an easy way to transport water. There are many tours to Pamukkale. We chose wisely. Take this one.

It was a good trip overall except no breakfast provision and a very ordinary or economical lunch despite paying a hefty price for the tour. Started early morning in a comfortable transport with calm and professional driver cum tour guide. The first stopover was at Salde Lake. We loved that mesmerising place. We then stopped for the lunch before visiting Hierapolis and Pamukkale cotton castle. The guide accompanied us at all major attractions there and explained everything well and gave tips for our convenience. At the end of the tour we were dropped at the hotel as per the committed time.

Guide was very nice to me, well for the rest ... You could eat food, ate similarly bad in other tourist restaurants. Therefor very, very nice staff. Everything in the coffee-trip style, of course, but for the little money I had a very nice day trip! It was worth it for me!
