What to Expect
Hierapolis-Pamukkale ranks among one of the oldest thermal cities of the world. A UNESCO World Heritage site, Pamukkale (cotton castle in Turkish) is a natural site in the Denizli Province of South-West Turkey. The city contains hot springs and travertines, terraces of carbonate minerals left by the flowing water. The ancient city of Hierapolis was also built on top of the white castle.
