Full description
Discover the most charming city in Turkey. Begin by stopping at the Duden Waterfalls, a very special location known to locals. The park around the waterfall is shady and cooling, almost like a tropical oasis with cascading waterfalls, loud birdsong and with a very special atmosphere and tranquility, that you will not find elsewhere in the town. After roughly 45 minutes relaxing in this environment, the tour will continue to the second location. Visit Kaleici Marina, also known as Old Antalya. A place that is filled with history and lovely buildings. See old houses built in the Ottoman style and from the park, enjoy terrific views of the water. See the old town’s harbor, Hadrian’s Gate, and many other interesting sights as well. Enjoy an hour on a short boat trip. After two hours wandering the city, follow your guide on to the final stop of the tour, at Duden Kiyi Selalesi. This spectacular waterfall is just 20 meters from the sea. See how the strong flowing water joins the sea in a loud thunder or noise and spray.

The appalling collection of tour participants in the different hotels is a real challenge, especially if you are picked up first and the bus is filled to the last seat. The first stop, the waterfall was really worth seeing. The guide explained everything well and reported a lot of interesting things. The lunch in the restaurant was average, as it is always on such tours. The subsequent trip to the old town with a short walk to the harbor and the boat trip was interesting. The 90 minutes "free time" for shopping in the old town was the highlight for the majority of the participants !? But not for everyone ... At the beginning of the day, the tour guide gave us a lot of information about history, economy, culture, flora and fauna, but over time noticed that this attracted less and less interest ... That's how we became then after the old town tour in a long drive back to the hotels. A tough long day!
