Marseille : urban coves tour and treasure hunt

Marseille : urban coves tour and treasure hunt

I provide you a game and riddles booklet from my creation that will allow us to move forward from stage to stage, such as a real Sherlock Holmes, and thus find out the hidden path we have to follow. Streets or alleys name, details on monuments or facades, objects of urban furniture, you have to walk with your eyes wide open to resolve the riddles. During the activity, you'll be also taking part in a treasure hunt: the perfect way to entertain players of all ages. The itinerary takes us along the Coastal road and into the Endoume district that makes it up, starting from the Catalans Beach. Just a stone's throw from the Calanques National Park, other equally fascinating and singular coves await the city walker. If you're a lover of hidden treasures, this walk will take you to meet them and the district that protect them, which also have their share of wonderful discoveries. The walking distance is around 4.5 km, without much difficulty except some stairs. As a resident of Marseille for several years, I will unveil you many unknown places but also some must-see ones, and tell you about the sites met, their History and even their legend, while keeping a playful spirit. In short: we walk... we have fun... we discover.

Our tour with Jean-Marc was great! He toured us through streets in the 7th District near and also high above the seaside that we never would have found on our own. We climbed multiple steps through narrow quaint lane ways where the houses and views are spectacular. Jean-Marc also shared some authentic restaurant recommendations and called ahead to get us a table. This is not a typical known attraction city tour, but more of an authentic local neighbourhood. This walking tour is suited for physically fit agile people and should be considered moderately strenuous. I highly recommend this tour for those who are up for the challenge.

We had a great and varied tour with the friendly Eric! We learned a lot about Marseille and saw many great places that we probably wouldn't have found otherwise. The treasure hunt is a great thing and definitely suitable for adults and children.

Stephane was a great guide who was very considerate and knowledgeable. Took me to great sightseeing spots, answered all my questions thoroughly, and made the experience very fun and comfortable. Thanks Stephane!
