What to Expect
Day 1 - Siem Reap Arrival

Upon your arrival you will be welcomed by your guide and driver, and transferred to your hotel for check-in. After getting settled in to the hotel, your guide will present a briefing about your coming trip. The rest of day is your own to explore Siem Reap’s nightlife.

Day 2 - Siem Reap – Angkor Temple Complex (30km biking)

8.00AM, after breakfast at your hotel, we are off on the first part of our cycling day. We pass Prasat Kravan and Sra Srang before we get to the jungle temple of Ta Prohm where we will spend an hour exploring this fascinating temple overgrown with trees. We then pass Ta Keo and pass through the Victory gate to the Angkor Thom complex. In Angkor Thom we see the fabulous Bayon Temple, Baphuon, the Royal enclosure, and the Terraces of the Elephants and the Leper King. That afternoon we visit the famous Angkor Wat and wonder at the base relief carvings, and the reflection of main towers in the moat. We return to town by an alternate route and visit the contemporary temple of Wat Thmei.

Day 3 - Siem Reap – Kbal Spean – Banteay Srei – Siem Reap (45km – 80km biking)

After breakfast in the hotel, we cycle to Kbal Spean, passing villages, schools, and
through rice fields along the way. To get to the river of a thousand lingas, we then walk about 30 minutes uphill. We can see the carvings in the riverbed, and also the nearby waterfall. Then we cycle back to Banteay Srei Temple, the ‘Citadel of Women’, which is known for its pink sandstone and deep, intricate carvings. Transfer bus back to Siem Reap for refreshment before dinner in a local Khmer Restaurant.

Day 4 - Siem Reap - Kulen Mountain Biking & Trekking – Camping Overnight (40km biking – 02 hour trekking)

Today we enjoy cycling and hiking to explore Siem Reap and surrounds. We leave Siem Reap after breakfast and ride 36km to Kulen Mountain along a quiet dirt road via Kravan temple, Bantey Kdei, Sras Srang and Phnom Bok. We drop our bikes at Rattanak Tey Pagoda, from here we climb Kulen mountain on foot. 88 steps takes us to Pres Ang Chup then onward a further 4Km to big Nevena (Pres Ang Thom) passing the river of 1000 Linga. Enjoy a picnic lunch box near the waterfall. As the day ends, we’ll hike back to the pagoda where our campsite is and once more enjoy a bright night under a star fulfilled sky

Day 5 - Kulen Mountain – Beng Mealea temple – Camping Overnight (40km biking – 03 hour trekking)

In the morning, after relaxing and swimming, we will hike to the Sras Domriey (Elephant statue) in the jungle and then return back to the waterfalls for picnic lunch.

Our cycling destination of this afternoon is Beng Mealea, a relatively unexplored temple built in 12 Century by the king Yajavoraman 7: a huge, sprawling complex that is an explorer’s dream as most of the temple is covered in jungle and the crowds are nowhere to be seen. It’s a real treat for anyone who loves nature, religion and history.

After visiting Beng Mealea, we will cycle more 5km to reach another campsite nearby this temple. Overnight in Tent at Beng Mealea Campsite.

Day 6 - Beng Mealea temple – Kampong Phluck Floating village – Siem Reap (45km – 68km biking)

After breakfast, we pedal back to Siem Reap by another road along the foot area of Kulen Mountain until the second checkpoint. Turn right onto the red sand road and you will see a lot of local people farming. After a few hours of biking, we will stop at a local family’s house to rest. Lunch will prepared by the house owner. If anyone wants to join in cooking with the owner, they are welcome to. After lunch, we will visit Kampong Phluck – a floating village on the Tonle SapLake. Enjoy a boat ride through the flooded forests.

Transfer back to Siem Reap. Dinner in local restaurant. Overnight in Siem Reap Hotel

Day 7 - Siem Reap– Phnom Penh by boat

In the morning, after breakfast and check out, we transfer to the pier at Tonle Sap and embark a boat to take us to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival at Phnom Penh we check in the hotel.

Note: We will drive overland from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh in the period from March to August due to the low tide.

Day 8 - Phnom Penh – Koh Dach Island (25km biking) – Afternoon City Tour

After breakfast at the hotel, we will leave the bustling city by van, cross the Mekong River by ferry then enjoy a pedaling day to explore life on the Island known as “Koh Dach”, the home of Silk. The inhabitants of this island are mainly rice and vegetable farmers while most of the women stay at home to do silk weaving as well as the usual family chores. In the afternoon our bus transfer us back to downtown of Phnom Penh City to visit the Memorial Monument and the Toul Sleng Museum (S-21).

Day 9 - Phnom Penh – Kep (45km biking)

After breakfast, our guide and driver will take us to visit the Killing Fields museum of Cheung EC, then we transfer to Kep, a 2-hour drive, and after stopping at Kompong Trach, we get back on our bikes and cycle to the coastal town of Kep. We cycle through Phnom Wur Mountain, passing by some of the best pepper farming areas in the world. We then continue along the foot of mountain until we reach our hotel in Kep.

Day 10 - Kep – free day

Today you are free to relax or take an optional boat trip Rabbit Island, or go exploring on your own. Overnight in Kep hotel.

Day 11 - Kep – Bokor Mountain – Kampot (40km biking – 01 hour trekking)

After breakfast we cycle from the hotel to Kampot to see this lovely old French Colonial town, stopping off at the market to buy some seafood for this evening dinner, after which we continue cycle to the foot of Bokor Mountain. We then trek up to the forest for about an hour, finally transferring to the top of the mountain. Stunning panoramic views over Cambodia and Vietnam can be enjoyed from the mountain top. After a picnic lunch, we cycle back, downhill all the way to the Kampot River.

Day 12 - Kampot – Sihanoukville (45km biking)

In the morning we drive to Sihanoukville airport then cycle to the beach, passing the coconut plantations and forests along the mountain trail until we reach the main road. A few kilometres further and it’s back down to the sea again and looking for a restaurant along the beach and relax.

Day 13 - Sihanoukville – free day

This day is your own time to enjoy the beach, photo-hunt or try local food at vendors. Overnight in Sihanoukville hotel/resort.

Day 14 - Sihanoukville – Departure or transfer back to Phnom Penh

Morning, after breakfast and check out. Our tour guide and van will transfer you to Sihanoukville airport for your own flight back to Phnom Penh or Siem Reap.

Another choice is our guide and van will take you back to Phnom Penh international airport for your flight home or you can expand a night in this capital city. The trip ends at Phnom Penh. Hope to welcome you back to Cambodia soon.
