Our bike tour Maras Moray and the salt mines Cusco, also known as bike tour of the sacred valley is located in the district of Maras, a small town that is located at 3,395m. place where this the salt mines.
We will pass by the viewpoint of Moray, one of the most impressive archaeological sites, which is built by circular rings.
We will also pass by the best viewpoint to the Salineras de Maras, one of the natural wonders, known as the salt mines formed by a huge number of wells or small pools where salt is formed, fed only by a source of water that springs from inside the mountain of Qaqawiñay, which is also distributed to all the wells.
The beginning of our mountain biking Maras Moray and the salt mines, is from the community Cheq'erek, here we take our bikes, helmets, gloves and start with our bike ride on dirt road between ups and downs, enjoying the viewpoint to the huaypo lagoon.
Our second stop will be at the Mirador de Misminay, from this point we will have an incredible view of Moray, Inca archaeological site; to reach the place we will have a drop of 300m.
After reaching the highest point of the route through the sacred valley, we will have small singletracks very fun with direction to the town of Maras and continue down to the same viewpoint of Salineras.
