Day 1: Sacred Valley guided tour with connection to Aguas Calientes
6:30am: Breakfast at your hotel
7:00am: Our guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby and drive you in our private transport from Cusco passing through Saqsayhuaman & Puca Pucara, stopping at Manos de la comunidad (to see Llamas, Alpacas and Vicuñas) and then continue descend 1500 ft. toward the Sacred Valley arriving at the village of Pisac where we will visit a traditional market to interact with the local people and purchase some local souvenirs. Then we will drive up to the Pisac Inca site to have stunning views over the valley. Here you can appreciate temples, residences, altars, channels and learn about the Incan agricultural methods shared by our Machupicchu Latin America expert guides.
13:00pm: We will stop in Urubamba to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch (not included).
14:00pm: After lunch, we continue our journey to Ollantaytambo where we will visit this amazing Inca site, which is an important area with Inca constructions, built during the Incan times. This is an extraordinary Inca citadel where we will find an amazing rock formation representing the Inca god Wiracocha. Finally, we will take you to the train station located in the same town of Ollantaytambo.
15:10pm: Board the train to Aguas Calientes (Machupicchu town). This train journey allows you to appreciate the fascinating scenery along the sacred Vilcanota River.
17:02pm: Upon arrival at Aguas Calientes train station, you will be welcomed by our hotel staff who will walk you to the hotel.
17:20pm: After check in at the hotel, the balance of the time is all yours.
Overnight: Aguas Calientes (Machupicchu Town)
Day 2: Machu Picchu guided Tour – Cusco (B)
6:00am: Breakfast at your hotel
6:30am: Our guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby and walk you to the bus station.
6:50am: Board the bus and take 30 minutes ride up to the main entrance gate of Machupicchu.
7:30am: Time to begin a unique experience by exploring one of the New Seven Wonders of the World accompanied with a professional tour guide who will share with you all his knowledge about the history, traditions and more that surrounds this mysterious and enigmatic Inca citadel of Machupicchu. Once the guided tour is over, you will have some extra free time to explore the marvelous of Machupicchu on your own.
10:30pm: Board the bus down to Aguas Calientes for Lunch (not included) and enjoy some extra time at the town to get some local souvenirs.
13:00pm: Board the train back to Ollantaytambo train station, the train ride takes 3.5 hours.
15:04pm: On your arrival to Ollantaytambo train station our representative will be waiting for you by the general exit gate holding a sign with your name on it and transferred in our private transport back to your Cusco hotel.
17:00pm: Arrive to your hotel in Cusco
