We absolutely loved it!! And mainly because our guide, Javi, was great! Very knowledgeable, funny, and ensured everyone was safe, informed and included. At the beginning he asked what country everyone was from and during the tour he would ensure those from another country understood, as he knew many languages.

Full description

Join a guided tour along the Caminito del Rey, a one-direction walkway and one of Málaga's most breathtaking natural environments.

If you arrive by car, arrive at the Visitor Centre car park indicated at the meeting point on your voucher at least 1 hour before the start of your visit. Park and take the shuttle bus to the entrance (last stop), which costs €2.50, not included in your entrance ticket.

If you arrive by public transport, you must also take this shuttle bus and go to the last stop to enter.

Meet your guide at the northern access of the Caminito, at the ticket office. After check-in, get the necessary security items (helmets), and you'll be explained the use of radio guides and headphones so that you don't miss out on an explanation along the way.

The guide accompanies the group from the entry up to the moment helmets are given, providing you with all the necessary information about the surroundings so you will complete your dream visit.
Fall in love with the stunning beauty of this unique environment and its fascinating history. The entire route is a marvel of 400 meters-high walls.
The path goes down to a mere 10 meters at its narrowest point. Below, the wild waters of the Guadalhorce river simmer and rush towards the coast.

It is in this environment where, since the 19th and 20th centuries, a set of the railway and hydroelectric infrastructures were located that formed the backbone of the connections and the road network that has survived into the 21st century and has become the El Caminito del Rey walkway.

Declared by the Junta de Andalucía as a Natural Area in 1989, it had already been classified as a Special Protection Area for Birds in 1987 and, since 2006, it is part of the Andalusia-Morocco Intercontinental Biosphere Reserve of the Mediterranean.
The site has been added to the list of Places of Community Importance in the Mediterranean Biogeographic Region.

This natural enclave has been a focus of influence for the settlement and development of human groups in the surroundings of the natural area of Gaitanejo and El Chorro from prehistoric times to the present day, documented by the abundance of archaeological sites.

The experience will leave you with unforgettable memories and amazing photos. Afterward, you'll come back to the Visitors' reception center with the guide on one of the shuttle buses.
