Sirince is an old village of ‘the Byzantine Greeks situated on the hills of Selcuk and 9 km from Ephesus. As part of the peace pact after theTurkish national war (1919-1922), a formal exchange of Turkish and Greeks, was agreed upon and Sirince is inhabited by Turkish now. The village is popular for beautiful traditional houses and fruit flavoured wine production; and you will have a free time for some wine tasting. We are taking depart from our İzmir at 08.00 AM to start our journey. After a short break, we arrive to Virgin Marry house which is our first stop and located in Selçuk Bülbül Mountain. The house of Virgin Mary was discovered by Lazarist priests in 1891 and Pope VI. After Paul's visit in 1967, it was accepted as the center of the cross for Christians. Those who want to make a vow on the Wish Wall of the church, which is considered sacred for Muslims, leave their votive papers and drink water from the Sacred Fountain, and then go to the ancient city of Ephesus, which was built entirely of marble in the class of a metropolis of a period. Together, we’re going to see Hadrian Temple, Domitian Temple, Trajan Fountain, the great Celcus Library, City Theatre and free time for a taking pics.
