It was another long ride in a van (over 3 hours), but Laguna Paron was very beautiful and I enjoyed the hike up the rocky trail to the mirador. I even got to try guinea pig at the restaurant on the way back. Our guide only spoke a little English. It seemed like he was sharing lots of information in Spanish. We got picked up at our apartment, but had to walk back up the hill for 20 minutes to get back home at 8pm. Overall a good tour from Huaraz.

We booked this excursion at the last minute because we had some free time in Lima before we returned home. It turned out to be one of the best excursions on our trip. We had such a good time; the weather was beautiful, the water wasn't too cold (no wetsuit required), and we got up close and personal with the sea lions. There was a little confusion about the meeting place and we had a bit of a late start but it was worth it- Great adventure!

Beautiful Lake. I would love to have more boating experience. 10 min is nothing

Beautiful! The hike is tiring and at high altitude so you have to be prepared.

Amazing trip. Beautiful Landscape and a great hiking to the Ice Lake.
