Absolutely wonderful museum, I learnt a lot of new facts about Van Gogh that I was not aware of. I went with friends, 2 whom thought it was ok but Art isn't their thing, although they to felt there was interesting facts to take in. Whilst they wouldn't revisit, I would.

Great museum, although not suitable for families with young children, as not a hugely interactive experience! Paintings are accessible & thoughtfully laid out & the audio tour is a must IMO - gives great insight into the paintings. Gallery can be skimmed in an hour if tight on time, but go & enjoy at your leisure!!❤️

This was a wonderful museum! But it's important to make the top floor to find out quite how good. A friend of mine bailed out on the third floor and complained that there weren't many Van Goghs in the museum! Assuming you make it, however, you will find treasures galore - several of them by associated artists such as Van Dongen and Munch. Hard to tear oneself away actually. My only complaint is that, despite booking times, there were too many people many of whom seemed to think it was OK to hold a mobile up in front of you when you were trying to enjoy a painting. But, overall, this is a lifetime experience. So thanks guys!
