If you need something nice and relaxing to do, without a massive line up then go here. Very good zoo for all animal lovers alike. Great way to use up a day or a couple of hours, with lots of variety of animals to see, very clean and well organized zoo. There were plenty of places to stop and rest and the gardens were nice too. Didn't eat at the restaurant in the zoo, but many bakeries, coffeeshops, and restaurants just located outside the zoo if you don't want to eat in the restaurant within the zoo.

My partner and I had an amazing time here at the zoo! We went on a very rainy day unfortunately, but that didn't stop us from having fun! The gift shop is right next to the entrance, and they sell ponchos at an affordable price and umbrellas as well if you prefer. There was a wide range of beautiful animals out in the park as well as indoor exhibits, I was amazed at all we could see for such an awesome price. GetYourGuide gave us a discount on tickets as well! Overall, this was the best zoo I've visited and I can't wait to go again.

Booked timed ticket. No Q! Easy access from city by foot or by tram. Needed a wheelchair which was available just outside the cafe (plenty of them and accessible with a 2euro coin which you get back- just like a shopping trolly.) The zoo was well signposted and not too big so we comfortably got round in about 3 hours. Towards the end we encountered a jazz band playing and an Aperol Spritz cart! A lovely end to a perfect day.
