What People Are Saying About Amsterdam
The bus tour out to the gardens was a convenient way of getting there and skipping the queue for tickets. The gardens were absolutely beautiful...very imaginative in layout, colour and design. If you can visit in April do so as they seemed to be at their best.
The structure of the tour by Lindberg Tour & Travel is quite impressive. It was well planned, good timing (morning schedule is very good), coverage was appropriate and sufficient
We were picked up on time and had a easy drive to Keukenhof Gardens, our guide gave us a great history lesson on the way. Before we also stopped at the incredibly colourful tulip fields to take photos. The gardens were unbelievable stunning. There were thousands of tourists there when we first arrived but as it was later in the afternoon a lot left and it was very pleasant seeing all the different areas not so crowded! I would recommend going very early or later in the day! We were picked up exactly as specified and then had a quick trip back into Amsterdam where we joined another group to see Anne Frank house. It was brilliant as we went straight into the house and didn't have to line up in the enormous queue! Going into Anne's house was fascinating and you got a real feel of how they had to live during that terrible time.
What a joy it was to visit this famous park with its plethora of tulips and other beautiful flowers. This is the best floral canvas I have ever seen. A MUST visit.
My wife & I took the bus to Keukenhof on King's Day, 26 April. We were fortunate to have sunny weather. What a stunning visual experience - better than any garden I've seen anywhere else world-wide. Greatly exceeded our expectations. The 3 hours in the gardens were actually too short a visit.
