Multilingual guides will show you a short film to demonstrate the cheese making process, while you enjoy some of the finest cheeses with cheese dips and mustard. Complete your journey into cheese with a glass of wine or specialty beer brewed for Henry Willig. Henri Willig was born and raised in Katwoude, a small village located at the foot of a dyke between lush green meadows; a picture postcard example of exactly what Holland should look like! Henri and his wife Riet took over the farm in 1974 and they have been producing high quality, traditionally prepared cheeses ever since.

The cheese was delicious and it was nice to have an option for beer if you don’t like wine. There were also some alcohol free drinks in case you were wondering. The guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his job and their products which made the tour even better. There’s was also a little video we watched with English subtitles in case you don’t understand the local language. If you weren’t able to read everything in the clip the guide spoke English and was more than happy to answer any questions.

We got five types of cheeses, three types of dips, and 2 glasses of alcohol (one for the younger cheeses one for the aged cheeses. For each we got to choose between a beer and a wine). Also learned something new about cheeses + first time trying cheeses with dips and it was surprisingly nice.

Got a delicious selection of 5 cheeses, two big chunks of each accompanied by various mustards and chutneys. Our guide was very informative and very friendly - she was able to host the tasting in both french and English. We got two drinks also (wine, beer or soft) A great experience and the bonus was a discount of any cheese you buy
