Full description
At Madame Tussauds Amsterdam you can sparkle among the stars. Right in the heart of Amsterdam you can drink a cup of coffee with George Clooney, get your picture taken with members of the Dutch Royal family and pick up your paintbrush alongside world-famous artists such as Van Gogh and Rembrandt. If you are you dreaming about a career as a real TV-host, come and discover your presentation skills at the new TV studio by reading the autocue. Or is music more your thing? How about recording a duet with Adele in the recording studio, or joining DJs Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Hardwell or Martin Garrix in the DJ booth. Immerse yourself in an amazing interactive world. You’ll never see as many stars in Amsterdam as at Madame Tussauds Amsterdam. Next, a uniquely thrilling attraction that will whisk you way back into the Netherlands’ most perilous past. See, hear, feel and (ahem) smell the chillingly amusing characters of the ‘bad old days’ as they come to life before you. Will you lose yourself in fear or in mirth? Whichever way, it’s not looking good for your underwear. Twelve different shows and a team of ten professional actors will give an unforgettable performance which will be terrifying and hilarious at the same time, depending on your tolerance for fear. Some of the attractions include figuring your way out of a dark labyrinth, witnessing a witch burn, encountering the ghost of a tortured woman and being tried by a Spanish Inquisitor. Discover the newest show ‘Forest of the Dead’ and discover Amsterdam’s gallowfield; a place where murderers, thieves and other scum sentenced to death would gather.

Visited the Dungeon in the morning and Mme.T after lunch. Dungeon is not to be missed! Fantastic actors offering hilarious audience participation, gruesomeness in spades, truly an experience not to be missed. Adults in our party loved it as it did our 11 year old daughter. Mme.T was good, lots of photo opportunities and interaction. We went out of season and was very quiet, not sure I would have enjoyed it so much if too many people and lots if queuing!

The dungeon was super fun, one of the best I've been to (Berlin, Hamburg, Vienna). Very funny, the actors did it very well and the English was very easy to understand !! (Basic knowledge already required!) There were creepy moments and definitely a lot to laugh about. At the end we got another drink! I can only recommend it if you like something like that. Great!! Madame Tussauds was also nice to look at (it was already in Berlin) and with the combination ticket you can also save yourself good money if you want to do both anyway. From a large window at the top you have a great view of the city and the square below and can take great photos. Definitely worth it.

Madame Tussauds really liked the museum. But I want to pay attention to time. We bought a combo ticket (immediately with the dungeon). They arrived in Tussauds after 16:00, and now we just did not have time in the dungeon. It turned out that they were closed at 18:00. We did not understand this right away, we just stood under a closed door. There are no hours of work at the entrance. But still, in Tussauds, we had a good time.
