Full description
Depart from Amsterdam and board a bus where a live guide will provide an extensive explanation on the Netherlands and its history. Arrive at Flora Holland Rijnsburg, where you will get to go behind the scenes to witness the hustle and bustle of the world's largest flower auction. Watch the incredible sea of flowers being sold here and the complexity and coordination of the auction. See buyers making quick bids under high pressure and watch flowers being shipped all over the world from the giant warehouse.

Next, take a 1.5-hour scenic boat ride through the Kaag Lakes, an area with beautiful nature that has not yet been discovered by many tourists. This region is home to the largest number of working windmills in all of Holland. Ride past many of the most important windmills that have helped to control the water levels. The Kaag Lakes is an incredible example of Dutch hydraulic engineering, which you will see first-hand as you will have the chance to explore inside of an authentic Dutch windmill. During the boat ride, enjoy a typical Dutch lunch, as you take in views of the picturesque landscape of South Holland.

The boat tour will end in Noordwijk, a scenic coastal town that is well known for its beautiful beaches. Take a bus ride along the Noordwijk boulevard, with views of the North Sea, as you ride to an authentic Dutch cheese farm. Here, see the century-old cheesemaking process, taste this delicacy and take the chance to purchase this Dutch treat to take back home with you.

Between March 21 and May 10, this tour includes a guided visit of Keukenhof Gardens instead of the flower auction. Your knowledgeable private guide will lead you on an informative tour, where you will be inspired by the various styles of gardens, flower shows, and unique art.
