I loved everything the meeting point was easy to locate. The guid was great and interesting funny and so informative. The bus/coach was comfortable. Learning more about the dutch culture was very interesting. The clogs, the cheese tasting and visiting the village was lovely. I do wish we had more leisure time. Probably another 45-1h would have been perfect.

Full description

After you arrive, your guide will lead you on an introductory tour of the town. You'll have the chance to visit a Wooden Shoemaker's Shop, where they'll offer a live demonstration of crafting wooden shoes. Following that, you'll experience a demonstration at an authentic Dutch Cheese Farm. You can taste as much cheese as you want at the shop!

Once you're ready to explore Zaanse Schans independently, your guide will share more insights about the village's uniqueness, local history, and culture. Please go inside Grand Cafe 1884 at Ruijtergaard, a 6-minute walk from the Amsterdam Central Station. From the front of the station turn to your left and walk in the eastern direction. Keep on walking and cross the small bridge. Walk until you reach the Doubletree By Hilton Hotel. Turn left and follow the walkway underneath the railway crossing. After this crossing, your departure point will be your right side.
