The only “disadvantage” is that you have to pick-up personally the tickets at the train station. Actually I had to buy an additional ticket to pick-it up. It would be more efficient if the customer get the digital tickets to be loaded in a smartphone!!

Because GPS did not work on my phone I had trouble working out how to travel to different parts of Amsterdam on the trams. It would have helped to have lists of the stops for each tram so that I could see which trams to take and where to change to get a different tram. Possibly this information is available for tourists, but I could not find it. However the tram driver were all helpful in explaining when to get off for a particular place e.g. the Museum Quarter and the money I paid for the pass was very good value for money.

So convenient, and a must-have for anyone with mobility issues. We traveled all over the city, hopping on and off with our 5 days pass. It was so convenient with regular reliable services. While you can pay with your mobile wallets, I prefer paying the ticket fee upfront rather than tapping my phone to get on and off each time.
