We used the Metro and trams to get around Amsterdam for 2 days. All you do is use your pass when boarding and getting off and you don't have the hassle about buying separate tickets for each leg of the trip. We discovered that the GVB App has GPS info for directions to the Metro stations and Tram stops, but we still got a bit confused as to which side of the street to catch the Tram.

Usage is great. However, I believed that it could be used digitally without an app. So we first had to go to a station to exchange the voucher for tickets. That was the only thing that is not good. The use itself is so uncomplicated and all means of transport are great to use. Amsterdam- you can do that!!!

This was such a great way to explore the city without having to worry about transport prices or limitations. We were staying in the outskirts and just traveling into the city by bus every day made this worth while. Having the four day public transport ticket gave us a lot of freedom and I'm pretty sure it saved us quite a good amount of money too since we where taking the tram everywhere all day.
