Full description

Canal biking has been a top Amsterdam attraction since 1984. Rent your own paddle boat and paddle your way through the canals at your leisure and take the kids along for some great fun. Choose a 1 or 1.5-hour rental and customize the route to your interests. Discover Amsterdam’s main attractions at your own pace, passing by many of the city’s historic buildings along the way. See the Rijksmuseum, the Anne Frank House, as well as other attractions such as the Golden Bend and the old city gates. This activity will guarantee you all a lot of fun, some light exercise, and the chance to discover some beautiful highlights of the city.

Man sollte für diese Aktivität auf jeden Fall eine entsprechende Kondition mitbringen, da es doch sehr anstrengend ist. Die Strecke hätte aber für uns etwas länger sein können - wir waren nach 60 statt 90 Minuten fertig. Eine Karte mit Route am Boot wäre schön gewesen, weil die Papierkarte bei Regen sehr schnell unlesbar wird (alternativ auch eine Ausschilderung am Kanal selbst).

Abbiamo trovato facilmente uno dei tre punti per il noleggio. Un ragazzo, in un inglese molto semplice, ci ha spiegato quali percorsi poter fare e ci ha dato una cartina. Il pedalò funzionava bene e ci siamo divertite molto! Tutto perfetto, da provare! :)

On line afspraak gemaakt. Het weer bleek nogal wisselvallig . De man op de Stadhouderskade vond het stoer dat ik met m'n 13 jarige kleinzoon toch ging varen. Kreeg gelijk 2 nood poncho's mee. Vaarkaart. Helaas we verdwaalden, kwamen 1 uur later terug. We waren de weg kwijt. De man zei , ach dat zijn ze hier wel vaker in Amsterdam. Kom maar en neem maar een drankje uit de koeling. Leuke sleutelhanger. Ik vroeg ik moet nog 1 uur bij betalen. wel nee man, het is goed zo. Super leuk onthaal en SERVICE van een gezellige Amsterdammer. Hij dacht natuurlijk die stakkers :-) Zo belangrijk is goed personeel. Hij maakte ook voor vertrek ook nog de natte bankjes keurig droog. Gewoon top !!
