The tour was okay, it was more of an introduction to how much and what costs than going into the history of the red light district. The guide often had his back to the participants and most of the time we sat in a coffee shop. It was fun and interesting but don't expect historical facts.

The guide was Bavarian, which loosened up the tour right away, but sometimes you had to make an effort to understand him. He could tell us a lot about the history of the red light district and we looked at some of the "windows". In addition, at the end we went to a coffee shop, which is a bit out of the way and therefore apparently has a better quality. All in all, the tour was very informative and you can learn a lot about the origins and current location of the red light district.

Our guide was very knowledgeable. My only complaint is that was signed up for the 6:00 tour and ended up having to wait till 8:00 for an English speaking guide. It was partially my fault as I don’t have cell phone service in Europe and although they tried to contact me I didn’t receive the message until I was back at the hotel.
