Our original tour guide was not available and our actual tour guide, Raoul, was only informed the day before. Despite this, he was very friendly, informative, took us to a few places just out of the way of some of the touristy areas and gave us some history and background on the way of life in Amsterdam. He brought us to his favourite places to eat herring and fried cod, a small bar for local cheeses, a small gelato place and an Indonesian restaurant for some authentic snacks to finish up. All was delicious! Highly recommend.

Great guide

We loved walking along with Manu, he gave us a nice walk around with extra history and atmosphere. Food we tasted was good and fun but we we're wondering how come we only got to taste 4 kinds of foods when we we're promised 7. Nevertheless it was well worth it .

Excellent local food tour in De Pijp

The private food tour was an great introduction to local food and the area known as De Pijp, The guide was very knowledgeable having lived in the area for many years. A highly recommended tour for those that want to learn more about a special part of Amsterdam and sample some delicacies along the way.
