This is the biggest science center in the Netherlands and home to 5 exciting floors of hands-on science activities. Learn how and why the wind blows, what makes a rainbow and how to blow bubbles big enough to stand in! In Science Throughout the Ages you’ll see a timeline of discoveries by scientists from around the world. In Journey through the Mind you'll learn what makes our brains tick. Smart Technology teaches how you can save energy, produce sustainable electricity and reduce the amount of carbon dioxide you are sending into the atmosphere.

So much more to the museum than I expected - could easily spend the whole day there. Everything was very interesting, and interactive too! Perfect for my little one though it would probably be best for kids that definitely have the ability to understand processes etc.

I took a 17yr old and a 5yr old and both loved it! It's very interactive and plenty of activities for all ages. It is spread out over 5 levels with the top level having a cafe and an amazing view over the city. Each level has its own theme with plenty of activities to do. We spent about 3hrs there as we had another activity booked, but it could very easily be an all day attraction.

Great fun for all the family. It entertained my 2 year old son and 29 year old boyfriend all at the same time. It's a good 15 minute walk from Amsterdam central station but we rode bikes to the museum and we were there in no time. Absolutely hours of fun and would highly recommend.
