Full description
1867 was a good year for beer. It was the year Gerard Adriaan Heineken built a new brewery in the heart of Amsterdam. In the pumping heart of the old brewery, you can dive into the world of Heineken beer.   On a 1.5-hour self-guided tour you’ll learn about the company’s heritage, the beer brewing process, Heineken’s innovations, and about what it takes to serve a world-famous beer. There will be a short presentation in English provided inside the factory.   Find out the 4 natural ingredients that make this beer, and discover the brand’s sponsorship activities with Formula 1, the UEFA Champions League and the Rugby World Cup. And sure enough, at the end of the tour you can raise your glass with new friends.

We enjoyed the tour but would have been much better with a guide as with it being so busy, we skimmed past a lot of the history. There is also a 4D experience where it takes you through the drink being made. I also feel like this would have been better if it was a bit more on the history about the drink or a talk through as to how it was made. That being said, the bar at the end was AMAZING! The staff throughout were so friendly and helpful....and the free drink tokens went down a treat. Overall, happy that we did it!

Interesting, entertaining insight into the history of the brewery. The animation-like speech was a bit annoying. You also have to note that after the booked time slot (on the weekend) there will still be a (long) queue at the cloakroom and at the actual entrance. It's a little annoying, but the actual experience is fun!

Excellent experience, everything interesting, the area with interactive games is also beautiful, they should just reduce the number of people during the tour, in some places there is little space and too many people. Among the many guides who alternate during the route, the one who stood out for his friendliness and skill, I have to congratulate Gonzalo!
