Learn the story of one of the world's most famous breweries with an entrance ticket to the Heineken Experience and enjoy an interactive, self-guided tour of the original factory, where all of the brand’s beer was made until 1988. Get a behind-the-scenes look at facilities including the gigantic copper tanks where the lager was brewed. Take part in a tasting session and test your skills at drafting a perfect beer. Then, see the 17th-century architecture of the city center on a 1-hour canal cruise. Avail of a GPS guide in several languages to get interesting information about iconic landmarks such as the Westerkerk, "Skinny Bridge" and the charming Negen Straatjes neighborhood.

Heineken Experience: Please check in at Heineken Brewery, located at Stadhouderskade 78. Show your (smartphone) ticket when entering the attraction. Please note it is only possible to access the attraction at your chosen time-slot. Reach the Heineken Experience with tram numbers 1, 7, 19, and 24, or metro line 52. The nearest GVB tram and metro station is Vijzelgracht. Canal Cruise: The Canal Cruise can only be accessed with a pre-booked time-slot. In order to pre-book a specific time-slot, please show your (smartphone) ticket at the "Tours & Tickets" office located at Damrak 26, Amsterdam. Reach the ticket office with tram numbers 2, 4, 12, 13, 14, 17, and 24. The nearest GVB tram station is Central Station. Look for the building with "Tours & Tickets" written in red above the shop door.

  • The time slot you choose in the booking is for the Heineken Experience. The canal cruise ticket will be an open ticket.
  • A time slot for the canal cruise must be reserved upon arrival in Amsterdam. There are 16 'Tours & Tickets' shops in the city centre of Amsterdam where you can validate your open Canal cruise ticket for a time slot ticket. With the timeslot reservation you can also choose the preferred departure point. Departure points are Amsterdam CS, Rijksmuseum (near Heineken Experience), Leidse Plein and Anne Frank Museum.
  • The Heineken Experience offers interesting information about the company’s history in English. A visit typically lasts 1.5 hours
  • Minimum age for the Heineken Experience is 18 years
  • In accordance with Dutch law, alcoholic beverages won’t be served to visitors under 18 years old
  • There is an audioguide on the boat. The Heineken Experience doesn't include an audioguide
  • Only service dogs (who must be identifiable as such) are allowed on the boat

Adorei o passeio de barco pelos canais, tem algumas informações pelo caminho e torna tudo mais interessante. (seria bom ter como agendar o horário online, sem ter que deslocar pessoalmente até a loja física). A parte da visita à Heinekein é bem interativa, auto explicativa mas senti falta de ter mais informações.

Coole Tour, aber Englisch sollte man schon einigermaßen gut verstehen. man läuft mehr selber Rum und erfährt an der einen oder anderen Stelle was von den Darstellern. das Bier war dafür Klasse, sowie das selbst zapfen "Spiel" war echt cool gemacht. Wegen dem Bier ne tolle Tour aber sonst so mittelmaß!

We did the Heineken experience first , that was fun and interesting and you received 3 free beers . Found the canal trip very cramped , and because we were sitting backwards it was uncomfortable to keep turning your head to see what the driver was talking about . Would definitely recommend the Heineken Experience, especially if you like a beer
