A relaxing cruise with good information about the sights of Amsterdam, the captain also gave additional commentary to the audio commentary and was funny!

The audio tour was informative and engaging. From a value-for-money perspective, I imagine it might be the best option - all other tours I saw were more expensive but, to their advantage, smaller with live narrators. The audio guide came in many languages which of course meant tours were more accessible and went more frequently. Unfortunately the in-ear buds only came in one size and were too big for my son's (9) ears - so come prepared with children's headphones if accompanied by a child.

Embark on a cruise takes you through the unique UNESCO World Heritage-listed canal district of Amsterdam. Enjoy the opportunity to take in many of the historic sights of the city center.
Depart from Central Station and discover the historic buildings and canals of the city. Admire the elegant merchant houses that date back to the Dutch Golden Age. See stunning gables, beautiful churches, the iconic Magere Brug (Skinny Bridge), and many other top attractions. 
During the cruise, listen to the recorded audio commentary in your choice of 19 languages. See merchant buildings from the 16th and 17th centuries, Amsterdam’s Golden Age, when trade flourished and was reflected in elaborately decorated facades. Arrive back at Central Station to finish the tour.
