I thought this tour included a visit to Anne Frank house but it didn’t. You have to book the house separately… Apart from that this was a very interesting & heart wrenching tour of the Jewish community & the area where they lived. Jack was a great guide & educated us all showing great compassion for what the Jews had had to endure. I never realised the extent of the heinous crimes that the Nazis committed against the all over Europe not just In Germany.

Our guide James was excellent. Before starting James set the scene & was extremely informative throughout the tour. Being taken to parts of Amsterdam we may not have explored ourselves was brilliant. The Holocaust name monument was the most moving part as we by chance spoke to a couple where the a lady emotionally explained that at the age of 83 she had managed to get to see her grandmother's plaque for the first time; the couple had travelled from America after hearing this momument was finished only last year - we thank them for speaking to us as I'm sure it was a very difficult & emotional time for them . The duration of the tour was just right and there was plenty of time to take pictures and ask questions. James made us feel at ease and the pace of information & walking was adequate.

The tour guide was great and offered much historical information. We covered a lot of ground walking which is something to be cautious of if you're not up for it. Not that we were mislead by the title, but it's more a WWII tour of the Jewish town area and nothing to do with Anne Frank.
