Picked up cards using QR codes at the NS ticket desk. Woman serving me said it was very expensive for 2 adults and 2 kids for 3 days as if there was a cheaper alternative. It probably would have been cheaper to just get individual tickets for each journey but I didn't mind paying for the convenience and peace of mind. Most of our tram rides were pretty busy and trying to purchase tickets on the tram would have been stressful.

Easy to use and you can see all options for tickets in Amsterdam. For a longer stay it’s better to buy the ticket from the beginning for more days because it’s cheaper, instead buying every day a new ticket. Don’t forget to check in and out every time you use the transport.

Really easy. We exchanged our voucher at the ticket desk at Schipol Airport and you just tap on and out on all the services. The train in to Centraal and all the trams and the metro in the city centre. The transport is quick and efficient and we got great value for money. Paying about £25 each for 5 adults for 3 days which we got great value for. For example one return trip to and from Schipol to Centraal was about £10 so this is a great way to save money if you’re traveling a bit
