Incredible experience with Yousef at Hanoon Tours! As a solo female traveler, I felt safe, and completely welcomed from the time he picked me up at the airport in Amman. Petra was awe-inspiring, walking through the Siq and seeing the Treasury was unforgettable. But Wadi Rum truly stole my heart. I stayed in a beautiful glass dome, took a thrilling jeep ride through the desert, watched a magical sunset over the red sands, and ended the night stargazing by a warm campfire with Jordanian tea. The traditional home-cooked dinner was absolutely delicious. Every moment was thoughtfully planned, and the Wadi Rum staff went above and beyond to make it special. Highly recommend to anyone—especially solo travelers—wanting a safe, magical, and authentic taste of Jordan! Also, a must is to get the Jordan Pass....covers the entrance in Petra, Wadi Rum and your Jordan visa.

Day 1: Amman - Petra 3 HOUR

Depart Amman and travel south to Petra. Founded by the Nabateans, Petra is considered one of the wonders of the world. Located 139 miles (225 kilometers) from Amman, Petra was carved in stone more than 2,000 years ago.

At the end of the Siq, see the Treasury (al-Khazneh), which was believed to hold countless treasures. Continue to the monastery and Altar of Sacrifice. Then, transfer to Wadi Rum in the afternoon.
