Take a half-day guided boat trip along the Amalfi Coast and enjoy the beautiful scenery from the best vantage point: the sea! Visit to the spectacular Emerald Grotto before cruising to the charming town of Positano, home to world-class shopping.
What to Expect
Discover the Amalfi Coast from the sea on a wonderful guided cruise to Positano.
As we take in the beautiful scenery of the Mediterranean coast, we'll stop at the famous Emerald Grotto. Discovered in 1932, the once dry grotto, later flooded by the sea due to seismic movements, owes its name to the unusual colour of the water, caused by the reflection of sunlight against the rocks.
The interior of the cavern offers you an extraordinary, unique scene. The remarkable atmosphere, dominated by brilliant green and blue, is made even more fascinating by thin stalactites and, above all, by the spectacular formations of stalagmites that emerge from the sea. Like huge columns over 10 m (33 feet) high, they join to the roof.
From there, we will land in Positano, the town famous for its white-washed cubes of houses, its cultural events and for the exclusive fashion creations sold in delightful little boutiques.
Enjoy roughly two hours free time for a walk through the beautiful alleys or to some of your own exclusive shopping. We will make our way back to Amalfi at around 18:00.
