Full description
Our experience begins with a warm welcome from our team who will guide you throughout this awesome class, describing what we will do in the following few hours. We will start with a tour of our typical terraced gardens, an ancient local cultivation method that represent a resource of sustainability and environmental conservation on the Amalfi Coast. Here we will stroll by and linger at the lemon grove, the olive grove and the vineyard, where you will be provided with significant information on the importance of these groves in the Mediterranean diet and how our worldwide famous Limoncello, olive oil and wine are produced. We will continue our visit to the vegetable garden, and after wearing gloves and collecting wicker baskets, we will proceed with the picking of the freshest seasonal veggies and fragrant herbs that we will later use for the preparation of the delicacies during the class. Once we have put on our kitchen aprons we will be ready to get down to business and learn the secrets of preparing exquisite traditional dishes, which we will then go on to enjoy all together during a wonderful meal accompanied by local wine, limoncello and real Neapolitan espresso. As a perfect finale to our gastronomic experience, feel free to relax in the relaxation area at the lemon grove, sipping a glass of wine or lulling yourself in our comfortable hammocks enjoying the splendid coastal view.

Meeting point

Meeting point is at "Amalfi Heaven Gardens", right up the stairs in front of G.A.S. Bar, just a kilometer far from the center of Amalfi and easily reachable on foot, by bus or by car (not recommended due to the very few parking spots available). If you are coming by car you should consider to arrive at least a hour early in order to be sure to find parking. DO NOT leave the car parked on the road: it might be removed by the police with a fine. Car parking: GAS BAR Parking (https://g.page/GAS-Bar-Amalfi?share). If nobody is at the parking, ask inside of GAS BAR, right next to it. Alternative parking in the center of Amalfi open 24/7: LUNA ROSSA Parking (https://goo.gl/maps/4HnFbdY2TJn). Due to the very few parking spots available, it's strongly recommended not to come by car though. On foot or public ferries and buses are the best way to get to Amalfi and to the gardens.

There are truly no words to describe the authenticity and warmth of these people….Silvio, Rosa and their staff were so engaging in all ways with us that you felt like you were in the kitchen cooking with your family! The food, the wine, the location….was beyond 5 star……we didn’t want to leave! If you do one thing on the Amalfi Coast, you need to do this class!!!!!

Myself and my partner had the best morning yesterday with Silvio, Bruna and Rosa. It was great to see and pick the vegetables growing in the garden. We had so much fun preparing appetisers and Gnocchi! It was a brilliant start to our trip. The food was absolutely delicious! Silvio was so welcoming, chatty and passionate about his job. We recommend this class and experience to everyone. You will not be disappointed!!

This was the most amazing day! Such a beautiful setting and our guide was so informative and sweet. I believe her name was Kylie. She and her husband Thomas both work at the villa/farm. I loved the hands on interaction. We got to pick the vegetables right from the garden to use in our dishes. Then there’s the amazing Mama Rosa❤️🇮🇹. She’s everything!! This tour exceeded my expectations and the food was heavenly! I would do this tour again and again!!
