Full description
After being collected from either your accommodation or the train station in Naples, you will depart for the Amalfi Coast. Once having arrived in Amalfi, you will have free time to visit the main town of the coast, shopping around and visiting sites such as the beautiful Cathedral of St. Andrew or Duomo di Amalfi.
Before you next visit the Pompeii Ruins, you will take a break for lunch where you will be able to enjoy a typical Mediterranean meal at a restaurant. Your light lunch will traditionally include a salad, homemade pasta, dessert and water.
On arrival to Pompeii, you will attend a 2-hour walking tour accompanied by a professional guide. Strolling through the cobbled streets built 2,000 years ago, you will see shops, temples, theaters and luxurious villas of the patricians and rich merchants that made their fortune in this prosperous city. All of these traces of a former empire have left incredible evidence of civilization, architecture and art for you to explore. At the conclusion of your tour, you will be transported comfortably back to Naples.
