Fredrico was an excellent guide, plenty of local information and perfect stopping points. We hadn’t been on bikes for over 30 years but easy enough. Time flew by, wished it was 30 minutes longer with one more stop, a church, old building etc to compliment the scenic wonders. On the road a bit but quite safe. A cracking activity for Alvor where activities are usually limited to the water

Full description

You will start your experience from a safe parking place close to fisherman’s houses in Alvor. After receiving a technical explanation to use your e-bikes by our professional guide, you will enter in a protected area along the Lagoon of Alvor. There you will see fisherman’s warehouses where everyday local fishermen are working and repairing fishing nets. Here people can buy the best qualify fish of the area. Marvellous ride in the lagoon path, off-road at few meters from Lagoon and Atlantic Ocean. You will stop to see the beautiful coastline of Praia dos três Irmãos, Grutas das Baratas, Praia João de Arens, Praia do Alemão and Praia da Rocha in Portimão. After a pleasant ride through Portimão cycle path you will reach the Medieval Fort with a stunning view of Ferragudo’s ancient Castle and river Arade. The tour stop at 4.30pm at our meeting point.
