A fun and active day which was easy to do from Porto. The road is very windy en route, so do take a sickness tablet before you go if not a great traveller, but the day is worth it! The bridge is exhilarating! I'm not a fan of heights , but it is safe and so worth the wobbly knees. The views are incredible and our guide made us feel very safe. And the walkways are stunning. Winding down through the most beautiful river valley. There are quite a few steps (mostly down) but otherwise the walking is pretty easy. We clocked up about 10 km walking during the day, but it was an easy pace and no pressure is put on you to hurry. Our guide stopped en route to give interesting facts about the wildlife, plants and river and we had a snack stop on the river bank. Opportunity to buy lunch and a beer at the end of the walk before being collected by our driver. Would definitely recommend for a fun, active day surrounded by wonderful scenery.

Everything was perfect. The driver that picked us up was learning English but was very communicative and so nice, explained all the details of the trip. We got under good care of our guide in Arouca. Got over the bridge and start descending on the wooden stairs. It is 9 km walk along the river, amazing views and the guide was telling us all about protection of the land, history of the region and everyday life. At the end lunch in small bar with very tasty Portugese prego sandwich and wine. Worth every penny. Thank you for great experience. Portugese are so friendly and welcoming, we will definietly come back to the country

I really enjoyed the overall walking experience. The drive to and from was great. The food at the end of the walk could have been better with more salad or vegan food to start the meal. And more time to chill out with the meal would have been great. The chapel and cafe at the end was not that interesting to me personally and I was just wanting to go home at that stage.

Amazing Tour! Great walk through nature, very calm and not too difficult👍 Loved the whole experience. Our driver was really nice and the tour guide took a lot of time to explain everything. She even took pictures of the group throughout the trip and sent them to us. Would 100% recommend❗️

the experience was amazing. Orlando was an great guide. our lunch was spectacular.
