The ride on the Hungerburgbahn went smoothly. Unfortunately it is very hot in the cabins in midsummer, there is no air conditioning. The zoo is really beautifully designed and you can see animals that you can't see so well in any other zoo. We observed a black woodpecker at work. The playground at the entrance and exit is also very nice and well-kept.

The Innsbruck Alpine Zoo is always worth a visit. It's wonderful to walk through and watch the animals. To be fair, it should be noted (and must be noted on the voucher!) that the voucher can ONLY be exchanged at the ticket office in the Congress station. And only there! This is not possible with the machine in the Löwenhaus station. Thankfully, the lady was already prepared for this and the exchange went quickly.

Nice family outing, even though the zoo is very close to the mountain and unfortunately not all animals can be seen at the moment. The ride on the train is definitely an experience for the children, but the footpath from the train to the zoo leads over a relatively narrow street without a separate sidewalk.
