After meeting your guide in Almeria, you will head out for the natural park with your guide and skilled 4x4 driver. The first stop of the tour is at the Fishing Association at Cabo de Gata, where you will see a defensive tower and the San Miguel Church. Next, you will be driven to the Mermaid Reef where you will be able to see the beautiful landscapes featuring rock formations that peek from the water.  Next drive up a volcanic mountain, from where you will be able to see over 9 kilometers of untouched beaches. After taking in the view, head down to these beaches where you'll be able to see a lava tongue and volcanic ash along the way. Route from Las Negras to El Playazo de Rodalquilar. Magnificent landscape with cliffs and caves. 3 guides (2 in kayak, 1 in boat) very friendly with whom you have a good time. They lend masks and snorkels to enjoy swimming time in El Playazo. Quiet pace.

Lovely trip south of San Jose. Captain was very informative about the history & geology of the coastline. We really enjoyed it. 2 hours, with a 20 minute stop for snorkelling.
