What to Expect
Explore some of the top natural sites in Australia, enjoy guided walks, and sleep under the stars on the 3-day, 2-night Rock Tour. Pick-up in Alice Springs and drop off in Ayers Rock are included.
Day 1: Kings Canyon (Meals: L, D)
You will be picked up at your accommodation in Alice Springs at around 05:30 and head to Kings Canyon, the first destination on the tour. Enjoy a guided 3-hour hike among the sandstone domes of the Lost City. Visit the many amphitheaters, the north and south walls, and the beautiful Garden of Eden.
Your next stop is Curtin Springs, where you’ll have time for a quick wash and toilet stop before setting up your bush camp. Your guide will prepare a healthy camp-oven dinner. Relax around the fire and then curl up in your cozy swag under a million stars.
Day 2: Kata Tjuta and Uluru Sunset (Meals: B, L, D)
Depart the bush camp at sunrise and head to the Ayers Rock campground for a quick shower and toilet stop. Take a guided walk through the Valley of the Winds at Kata Tjuta.
Experience bush tucker along the hike before heading to the Aboriginal Cultural Center in the afternoon, to hear tales from the Tjukurpa Dreamtime. Spend the evening enjoying dinner as you marvel at the spectacular sunset over Uluru, and see the rock changing color. Overnight at the Ayers Rock campground with toilets and showers.
Day 3: Uluru Sunrise (Meals: B, L)
Take in a memorable Uluru sunrise over the world’s largest rock and then complete the Uluru base walk. Enjoy the Mala walk and Mutijulu waterhole, and take in aboriginal cave paintings.
You will be dropped off at the Ayers Rock airport an hour before your flight.
Note that you will need a medium level of fitness for the walks. The tour operates in extreme temperatures during the summer months (November through March).

Know Before You Go
You will need to bring the travel voucher, a small bag, sturdy walking shoes, flashlight, hat, sunscreen, 2 water bottles, towel, a swimsuit, toiletries, camera, and sunglasses. Warm clothes in winter and comfortable light clothes in summer are recommended.
Tours operate daily except for a few days over the festive period (no tours on 23/12, 24/12, 25/12, 26/12, 30/12, 31/12, or 01/01).
