I had an amazing time on the Wesy MacDonnell Ranges tour yesterday! The itinerary was fantastic! We explored Simpson Gap, swam at Ellery Creek, and soaked in the beauty of the stunning landscapes. Our tour guide, Emma, was absolutely wonderful. She was not only incredibly knowledgeable about the area but also made the experience so much fun. I especially enjoyed the music she played during the trip. The small group size made the tour feel personal and relaxed, and everyone was lovely to travel with. The lunch provided was delicious and well-organized. Overall, it was a fantastic day, and I would love to do it all over again. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting a memorable and enriching experience.

Full description

Discover the rugged beauty of the West MacDonnell National Park on a guided bush walk through the Standley Chasm. Keep a look out for native wildlife, go for a swim in Ellery Creek Bighole, and admire the towering walls of Ormiston Gorge.
Depart from central Alice Springs and travel to the Standley Chasm a 3-meter-wide, 80-meter-high gorge among the West MacDonnell Ranges. Spot the native wildlife as we you this beautifully rugged area.
Head west to the Ellery Creek Bighole, known traditionally as Udepata, surrounded by tall red cliffs and sandy Ellery Creek. Cool off in the swimming hole here. You will also enjoy lunch in a scenic location nearby.
Then, discover the towering red walls of Ormiston Gorge. Spend time here admiring nature and its finest before beginning the leisurely journey back towards Alice Springs, with a final stop at another remarkable feature of the Tjoritja West MacDonnells region, Simpsons Gap, before heading back to Alice Springs.

It was a great day with Dirk, thank you! It was very well organised, we got some snacks and lunch picnic. We did 3 little walks and a little hike up to a lookout spot. And we went swimming in a natural pool, that was amazing. It was extremly hot to walk but definitly worth! This nature and wildlife was unbelivable.
