From Alicante: Roundtrip to Tabarca Island

A great day out. The boat journey was worth it alone, to be out on the rolling sea and view Alicante and the marina from a different perspective. Tabarca is a wonderful little Island. The water is crystal clear and there are lots of fish around. It is just a bit worrying that it is bombarded by so many day trips, but this keeps the trade going for the multitude of restaurants and gift shops. Perhaps a limit could be set on this. Visitors do need to be more respectful and take their rubbish with them or put it in a bin, it is extremely detrimental to the wildlife of the island to leave it behind on the beach and in the water.
