Wonderful day trip; Danny was a great guide and even gave an optional 30 minute guided tour around Guadalest which we weren't expecting. Places were lovely that we went to, some great photo opps, beautiful restaurants, and enough time around each place was given. All in all, a great day out and would definitely recommend it

we had a very informative guide, Isaac. He spoke clearly and was very approachable. The driver of the coach was amazing navigating the sharp bends. We felt very safe. The amount of time allocated for each stop off seemed just right. Isaac introduced us to each area with interesting facts. We enjoyed a swim in a pool and drink at one of the bars near the falls. We highly recommend this trip. It was good to include Altea in this trip. Lovely whitewashed buildings with attractive shops. Thank you.

Discover the charming towns of Guadalest and Altea, and the waterfalls of Fuentes del Algar on a day trip from Alicante.

Leave Alicante and, after a short stop in Benidorm, and in the first part of the tour we will visit Altea. Explore this jewel of the Costa Blanca with your guide and discover the charming cobbled streets of its old town, its iconic white houses with lovingly decorated balconies and its spectacular viewpoints overlooking the Mediterranean. You will have free time to stroll along the beach, take photos or buy souvenirs in its craft shops.

Next, drive a short distance to Guadalest, one of the most beautiful medieval towns in Spain. Enjoy a guided walking tour while learning about the fascinating history of the town.

Discover the imposing Castillo de San José and admire the imposing fortress surrounded by mountains with spectacular panoramic views. Once the walking tour is over, enjoy free time to continue exploring or try the local cuisine. Stroll through the city and choose to visit one of its museums, such as the Museum of Microminiatures, the Museum of Microgiants, the Museum of Salt and Pepper Shaker or the Ethnological Museum.

At the final, travel to the Fuentes del Algar, a fascinating natural site made up of spectacular waterfalls that bring great biodiversity to the environment.
In fact, the Fuentes del Algar are declared a Protected Wetland Area for their environmental wealth. You will have free time to take a dip and enjoy this place as you wish.

Danny was a fantastic guide. He kept things running smoothly and had great info,he is clearly very passionate about living here. We were on the tour when Spain experienced the full electricity black out. Sadly it meant that we couldn't visit a few of the museums in Guadalest as they had no lights. However Danny kept us in touch with everything that was happening via the radio on the bus and really helped to keep it all fun and light - even though the situation must have been concerning for them. It's a great day out. We really enjoyed the plentiful time in each place to do as we wish. Already is beautiful, Guadalest is great - will have to revisit for the museums - the fall were wonderful ps .. always have cash - is what we learned. nothing to do with the trip..but no electricity means no arms etc
