The Alambra is an experience not to be missed. We travelled by bus from Malaga, booking our return tickets in advance, and hopped on a number 33 from the bus station in Granada to the centre of the city. After getting a map from the tourist information we enjoyed the walk to the Alambra. We met our guide and the rest of our tour group at the arranged point. The guide, Daniel, was great and spoke English fluently. With the help of the audio equipment used it was easy to hear him and his stories helped one to envisage the life of the city as it would have been. A thoroughly enjoyable day and highly recommended.
Communication was very easy. Pick up time was prompt. Roman, our guide, was amazing! He was extremely nice, considerate, and very knowledgeable. He was also able to switch between English and Spanish very naturally. He gave us a history lesson of the surrounding areas during the bus ride to and from Granada as well. The tour guide at the Alhambra was someone else and he too was very knowledgeable and a good tour guide. I wish we had a little bit more free time in both Granada and the Alhambra but with time restraints it’s totally understandable. I would definitely recommend this tour to others as well!
The tour was fantastic. The young woman that was our initial guide (while on the bus) was excellent and spoke 4 or 5 languages flawlessly. Once we arrived, the onsite guide was equally well spoken in multiple languages and was able to provide an ongoing explanation and answer all questions from the group. The site itself is spectacular and its history fascinating. Highly recommend taking this tour!
Long day but worth it. Alhambra is amazing. Our guide in Alhambra (Antonio) was very knowledgeable. That tour was in Spanish and English. Albacin is the old Andalucian part of Granada, with an awesome view of the Alhambra and Sierra Nevada. Roman, our guide from Seville, was patient, friendly and very accomodating. Overall a great experience.
Our guide met us and provided us with headphones. He was very informative and funny so made the tour very interesting.
