I advise you to arrive early in the morning. We were present from the opening at 8:30 a.m. and we walked in the gardens, it was super pleasant to come across little squirrels, to see a remnant of the Moon in the sky. So we saw the palace quite early too. Less crowd and more convenient to take photos without people on it. I advise you to come by bus from the center because on foot the climb is steep (20 minutes). Allow three and a half hours minimum visit because it is really very dense.

Don't trust getyojrguide. They give rough information and you don't know what you buy. Example: purchased a ticket to visit the Alhambra in Granada and then discover on the spot that the Nasrid palace, the most interesting part of the palace complex, was not included in the ticket and can no longer be visited because it is sold out. Travel from Seville, rental car, entrance ticket to the Alhambra to see right of the fortified walls

It is very important to buy tickets in advance - if you have climbed up to the craze hill, you will find out that the castle itself does not sell tickets. the ticket office in the central square was closed as well. So, that is very important to buy tickets in advance. We were in Alhambra on a very hot day - so take a lot of water with you. The distance between Alhambra and Generalife is not short, but Generalife is worth to see.
