What a fantastic evening! João was the perfect guide. Personable, funny and full of wonderful stories and history. He introduced our group (which was a fabulous group btw!) to more refined versions of Portuguese cuisine, family fare which was sumptuous and warming to the core, to a local bar with delicious foods making the mouth water and a shot of local “moonshine”. We topped the evening off with a coffee and sweets and chatted with our new friends. Highly recommended this tour.

Our tour with Pedro has been the best we’ve had in Portugal and we’ve been here twice. He was welcoming, full of knowledge, patient with our language (Spanish), friendly everything one hopes for in a tour. By the way the places and food amazing too.

An incredible food tour that really does introduce you to the food that the locals eat. Pete the guide was very knowledgeable and was able to get us tables at some of the best spots - lots of fresh seafood and plenty of drinks to pair with your meals. Being a Saturday night, we did have to wait at some spots to get served, but that's only because they are also so popular with the locals. Would highly recommend this tour as the perfect intro to Lagos!
