It was my first time kayaking and it was an amazing experience. Piotr was our tour operator and he was very friendly and cheerful and explained the rules and how to navigate the kayak very well. Since we visited in the shoulder season there weren’t many people on our trip. It was our group of 4 and another couple. One of my friends who is not very comfortable with water and ocean chose to stay back on the boat but the tour operators on the boat were kind enough to take her through the same experience of viewing the caves as we had from our kayaks. Since the weather was great we went along all the caves and also through some tight spots but it was fun nonetheless. In the end we took a short dip/swim in the ocean before returning back to the main marina. Would highly recommend this activity!

Miguel was our guide but the whole crew were very kind and genuine. We were fortunate that it was toward the end of the season do there were only three of us. Our kayak trip through some cave and around Ponta do Piedade was spectacular. The weather cooperated and it was very professionally handled.

Fun experience but it was very busy with a lot of groups so it was hard to find/follow leader at the beginning. It was a Saturday so perhaps that’s why there were so many kayakers. Nevertheless fun to see the rock formations and grottoes from the water.
