Faro: Ria Formosa Faro Islands Boat Tour

Our tour was really nice. Islands were not crowded and were calm and enjoyable, still the sun felt warm. We saw quite a few bird species and our guide was very knowledgable and talked about them and the area. Would totally recommend in this season closing period.

Fantastic, the guide was so great. We’d booked to go on a day where it turned out to be such miserable weather that the rain was chucking out down and we ended the trip early. They very kindly got in contact with us and offered to let us go on another trip the very next day to make up for it. Very kind of them and we had such a great time with the same guide. Two beautiful islands and a chance to enjoy ourselves in the sun. I couldn’t ask for anything more!

The trip was great. It was very clear from the moment I booked where the meeting point was as the group reached out to confirm. If you’re just looking to spend some time seeing these deserted and quiet islands it’s great. I had a swim on the second island too and then we travelled back watching the sunset. We left and returned on time too! Our tour guide l, Antonia was fantastic and spoke various languages very clearly which was super impressive. He’s very entertaining and welcoming. I remember his name because he told us it was Antonio Banderas. The groups are small which was nice. There was 9 of us and 10 would be the maximum. Great value for money!
