What to Expect
Climb the Monchique Mountains to Foia- the highest point of Algarve. Have free time for a wine tasting and for taking some spectacular photos. You will then make your way down to the mountains for a lunch stop (not included). After lunch, journey over to the beautiful town of Lagos to see an indoor slave market (the first in Europe), the golden Church of St. Anthony, Lagos Fortress and old town.

Afterwards, continue on to Cape Saint Vicente, the most southwesterly point of Europe known as the “End of the World.” Visit the strongest lighthouse in Europe, the Cape Saint Vicente lighthouse in the beautiful fishing harbor of Ponta de Baleeira in Sagres and pass by Fortaleza (Home of Prince Henry’s School of Navigations).
