This is the ideal tour for those wanting to get to know the Algarve Islands. You'll also stop at Santa Luzia, where you'll enjoy a typical Octopus dish.

You'll depart from Cabanas de Tavira, travelling by boat to Barra Artificial de Tavira and Quatro-águas before arriving at Santa Luzia, the land of the Octopus.

The information when booking is misleading. The skipper was very friendly but was no tour guide. This is not a tour. It is a water taxi to a couple of other beach front towns. On the way out the skipper pointed at docked boats with octopus traps on and that was about it for talk on octopus. We got dropped off for lunch but no recommendation of a restaurant. The tour info makes you believe lunch is included which it isn’t. You have to find/buy your own lunch …. The second island you stop for an hour to walk on a beautiful beach, but we personally preferred getting the ferry from the centre of Tavira to Ilha de Tavira beach for €2.50 return and you can easily stay there all day. Plenty restaurants/rest rooms & a lovely vibe

Very nice tour. Especially the second stop at the beach. Be sure to pack your bathing suit.
