Full description

Begin this tour that takes place in the stunning coasteering location in the southwest Algarve, in the Costa Vicentina Natural Park located between Sagres and Lagos. Start the 3 hours of excitement by getting ready with your wetsuit, buoyancy aid, helmet, and shoes, and getting a briefing on safety and prevailing conditions. Walk down to the water's edge and start off exploring the coastline, hidden beaches, amazing cliffs, and rock formations, admiring the clear ocean waters and learning about the marine environment and some local traditions. Soon you’ll be swimming in the ocean and inside sea caves, and climbing and walking along the rocky shoreline. You’ll have a chance to try some cliff jumping as well. Starting with small jumps to develop your confidence and technique, you’ll build up to jumps of up to 10 meters high. You can even jump inside the grottoes. After all the action, it will be time to walk back over the cliffs along the scenic coastal path while chatting about your experience.

We were staying in Lagos and met up with our guide Nelson in Raposeira. From the meeting point we drove 5 minutes up to the cost. We got suited up with our gear and started our fun. Jumping, climbing, jumping, climbing and this continued until we made it to 10 meters. Nelson, was a fantastic guide, he cared about our comfort and our safety. What a fantastic day!!!

We had a blast with Nelson, he was an excellent guide. This tour was fantastic, an amazing way to experience the Algarve coast. The jumps were progressively increased in a way that allowed you to feel comfortable going to the next height up. Be sure you are comfortable climbing, obviously not afraid of heights, and in good physical condition. The only recommendation I would have for improvement would be to find a way to provide water or to allow for clients to bring their own as I found I was very thirsty by the end of the tour.

It was such an amazing experience! Never thought it could be soooo cool like it was… The guides are very calm and explain everything very good! They also show you beautiful spots and places and say something about the sea and creatures living there. You feel that they love their job! Never thought I‘d jump from the last spot (about 9m) in a cave but they gibe you the confidence to do it. Otherwise if you are too scary you don’t have to jump! (Very good to know). Unforgettable afternoon. Every € was worth it! They should take more money for that experience! ;-) <3
